Chapter 20

Juniper

I feel like I'm on fire like my whole body is burning up, I need to cool down and get a drink my mouth feels parched. Trying to move, I feel like I'm trapped with a heavyweight on top of me. Did the fuckers strap me to bed after my lame ass attempt to getaway? They said I wasn't a prisoner, but I sure feel like one right now. Trying to lift my back up, I hear an oomph in my ear. Hot damn, someone was on top of me, craning my neck around, I see it’s Abraxas. I let out a squeak of surprise and tried again to get up.

"Hey darling. I would stop that if I were you or we’re going to get real friendly very soon," his masculine voice sends electric shots straight to my core. I feel his warm breath against the back of my neck, which causes my nipples to pebble. I try and rub my thighs together to release some of the pressure when I feel something poke me in the left bum cheek. Well, this just went straight from uncomfortable to awkward. He decides at that moment to push his hips forward, causing a small moan to leave my lips. I feel him roll off my back and lay next to me.

Knowing my face is bright red right now, I can't look at him. He takes his hand and runs it down the side of my boob and down my side to my leg. He is so hot. I don't just mean sexy, because that he is, but I expect his body temperature right now is way over mine. The heat he’s giving off, and the slow movement of his hand makes me pant. My lungs burn for more oxygen right now. My body releases another moan, this one twice as long as the last one.

I feel a heavy sigh released by Brax. "As much as I want to stay in bed with you and spend the day worshiping your body the way it deserves to be worshipped, we have a lot to do today and even more to discuss," Brax says with sadness in his voice.

Well, if that isn't like an ice bucket being dropped on me, I don't know what is. I jump out of bed and race down the hall before he can see my rejected face. Don't get me wrong, I’ve only known the guy for twelve hours. I'm starting to feel like a hussy. Hell just call me Clover. Still, there’s something majorly embarrassing about being rejected by yet another man. It's another hit to my self-esteem. Every time I pick myself back up along comes a man to spank me right back down.

I walk into the sitting room to see a whole spread of food. At this point, my belly decides to make itself known. I can't decide what’s more embarrassing, having your stomach rumble in front of a room full of people or farting in front of them instead.
